[sc name=”upcoming-widget-with-soldout” categoryname=”Musical Improv” locationname=”None” ][/sc]
The Upright Citizens Brigade Musical Improv Program invites students to develop both their musical and comedic instincts, allowing students to seamlessly integrate between scene and song.
Students begin the program learning to comfortably improvise song structures with an accompanist before moving on to more advanced techniques. By the end of the program, UCB students will gain the confidence to play game within song, create their own structures, play within musical theatre genres and even create their own
narrative musical.
All levels of Musical Improv culminate in a class show with an accompanist in front of a live audience.
