Nina Concepción (9-1-1 Lone Star, Shining Vale, Tacoma FD, UCBLA) never asked to be born, and now that she’s here, she’s spent her entire life feeling bad about it! In a fast-paced hour full of unhinged characters, nonstop physicality, and even a worm dance break, Nina takes you through her journey of shame as a neurotic Latina forever trying to escape her own reality. From being a prolific fanfiction writer at 13 and her subsequent fall from fanfic grace, her childhood obsession with suffering and martyrdom, religious/sexual/body shame and more, this show will take you on a hilarious journey that is ultimately a love letter to our tiny selves.

Simultaneously a celebration of our inner little freaks and a cathartic release, SHAME-FULL is an award-winning vulnerable and hilarious solo hour that asks the question: are we born with shame, or are we taught to feel it?
