Saturday, January 18, 2025 – 10:30 pm LA - FRANKLIN
A gripping improvised crime story fueled by celebrity tales and a shitload of wine.

All profits from Jan. 18’s Pinot Noir will be directly donated towards helping rebuild communities affected by the devastating LA fires.

Cynicism, fatalism, moral ambiguity — these traits form the bedrock of my favorite genre of storytelling: Noir. There’s something about a tired detective, searching desperately for clues (and meaning), that we can all relate to — or at least, poke fun of.

Earthy, bold, full-bodied — THESE traits form the bedrock of my favorite beverage: Wine. There’s something about a nice, tall glass of red wine (or white, if you’re weak) that always makes you think, “life’s not that bad.”

PINOT NOIR combines my two favorite things on earth into a gripping, gut-busting (due to both bloat and laughter), wine-fueled story that no one will ever remember. Each improviser brings an unopened bottle of wine to the show (or a special, non-alcoholic drink if he/she/they are sober) and they have until the end of the set to finish it.

So tighten your trench-coats and light up those cigarettes, cause this Noir thriller will leave quite the taste in your mouth.
