A dark comedy about a depressed woman who has to do community service at a suicide hotline after her own suicide attempt goes wrong.

Lifeline is a story about Gwen Jennings, a depressed young woman who recently moved back in with her narcissistic mother after a failed engagement. It seems like nothing in Gwen’s life is going to plan, not even her suicide attempt. After her botched bid to end her life, Gwen is sentenced to do community service at a suicide hotline alongside a collection of part-time misfits and volunteer lifers from all different backgrounds. At first, Gwen sees this as a punishment but later wonders if helping people live is something she can live for.

Lifeline won 1st place at Slamdance for best TV pilot, 1st place at the Austin Revolution Film Festival and was a semi-finalist in the Cinequest pilot writing competition. Lifeline was also an official selection at the Yes And Laughter Lab showcase.
