Palestinian comedian Waleed Mansour gathers every single Palestinian improviser he knows. Unfortunately, that’s a very short list (one), so he’s also stacked the cast with his famous and funny friends for lots of laughs, with all proceeds going to the people of Gaza.
This performance has a roster of stellar improvisers from Waleed’s years in Chicago to new collaborators he’s met while in LA. This includes performers from the stages at Second City and iO Chicago to the very funny folks seen frequently on Dropout, blending their different styles together on the UCB stage to create something fresh and unique.
All profits from the show will go directly to the Palestinian Children’s Relief Fund, supporting those impacted in Gaza. Our hope is that this show can both increase awareness of the ongoing atrocities, while also offering the audience a brief, joyful escape from them.
