Sidney Butler is an LA-based writer and filmmaker from Houston, TX who started studying sketch at UCB in 2019. When she’s not writing for Maude Night you can find her opinion based ramblings, essays and articles on her Substack, Space Out. She was a Disney Writing Fellow in 2021 and since has written on OUR KIND OF PEOPLE (FOX), ACADEMY (WONDERY) and TIME BANDITS (APPLE TV). She’s a big, some may say huge, fan of trashy reality TV and is constantly trying to find the best Thai food in LA.
