As a kid, Karen dreamed of being classical theater actress performing meaty and thoughtful Shakespearian roles. Then she took a hard left turn and decided to do improv instead. She has studied and performed at The Groundlings, iOWest, Bang, The Shared Experience Studio, and of course, UCB where she had the honor of being on Harold, Maude, and Betty teams. But no matter where she goes, she treats her comedy with the seriousness of a Lady McBeth.
