Ben Wietmarschen (pronounced “wheat-martian”) is an LA based comedy writer, improviser, and actor currently on the UCB Harold team, XOXO. Ben has worked as a staff writer at Funny Or Die and has contributed writing to comedy institutions like The Onion, The Tonight Show, Just For Laughs, and Major League Baseball. He has also acted in many commercials, including ones for Google, Yelp, Wayfair, and one where he screams his head off for Take 5 Oil Change. He is co-creator of the long-running internet series Long Haired Businessmen (available on youtube). Ben is originally from Cincinnati and likes sports.
