Alex is a Brooklyn based writer who’s had several screenplays advance in the Nicholl Fellowship, as well as Austin Film Festival, and the Sundance Labs. He has a sci-fi comedy feature optioned with Lucky Chap and Votiv media. He wrote and directed a short film, “The Debut”, that was selected as a finalist in the Just for Laughs Short Film Showcase. He’s been a writer for several seasons of UCB’s Maude Night, where he’s gotten sketches featured in Vulture’s “Best Comedy Shorts of the Month”. His indie team, “Kiss on the Lips”, enjoyed a three-year run doing a monthly show at the UCB. He’s also one of the directors of Sketch Cram.
