Imagine if long-form improv were a sport. Now imagine that this sport had two live commentators. And now imagine that these two commentators were as much of an improv nerd as the people doing it — naming every deep-cut improv move, strategy, historical precedent as the show continued! Would this make the improv more playful and accessible? Or does it make an already-niche activity completely inaccessible? You be the judge!
